At Evolt Health, we believe fitness is more than a personal pursuit – it’s a legacy. This Father’s Day, we are proud to spotlight Beau Zorko, from our Australian Sales Team, whose story is a testament to how health and fitness can shape generations.

For Beau and his family, activity has always been a shared journey. Growing up, he and his brother were inspired by their father, a high school cross-country champion who later played AFL and indoor cricket. “We would often tag along, mimicking what was happening on court and playing our own games, until we were old enough to play in our own right and even join in,” Beau recalls.

This early exposure cemented fitness as a lifestyle. But for the Zorko family, being active together has never been just about physical health. “The life skills we’ve learned from being active and involved in team sport, like mateship, camaraderie, teamwork, and the discipline and hard work involved with training, have held us in great stead in all areas of life,” Beau shares.

Now, as a father himself, Beau sees the role of fitness in healthy aging through a new lens. With an energetic young son, he values the ability to engage fully in play and serve as a role model. “Our little ones have an abundance of energy, so being involved in their activities is incredibly important. At the same time, building friendships with other dads and creating a social outlet is vital for balance.”

Some of his father’s lessons still guide him today: “Regardless of the session or level of sport, do it with a smile on your face and enjoy every second. You’ll look back and quickly realize how great these times were, especially when sharing stories with your kids.”

For Beau, motivation is simple: “My son. He’s a ball of energy and gives everything a go. It’s important to support him in whichever path he chooses.”

Balancing family, work at Evolt Health, and global commitments isn’t always easy, but Beau credits consistency: “Booking time each day, even just 20 minutes, makes all the difference.”

When asked about memorable family fitness moments, Beau points to some unforgettable highlights: the Indoor Cricket World Cup victory in 2022 and celebrating his younger brother Dayne Zorko’s AFL Grand Final win with the Brisbane Lions last year.

This Father’s Day, Beau reflects on the privilege of fatherhood. “Our children are a gift. Daily movement and training allow us to be the best role models we can be, engaged, involved, and supportive of their journeys.”

For him, fitness, fatherhood, and healthy aging can be summed up in one phrase: a privilege worth enjoying every day.
